生日（现代诗）

每年你不约而来，

悄无声息，

无论刮风还是下雨，

无论我是否愿意。

小时候天天盼望长大，

每个你降临的日子，

心里格外欢喜。

如今，

你却成了我的心事，

一次又一次，

提醒我的老态和无力。

一年又一年，

白了我的黑发，

枯了我的容颜，

弯了我的脊背，

扰乱我的情绪，

让我永无宁日。

故意忽略你的存在，

等想起你，

往往早已过期。

可你从不计较，

下次照常准时。

你再来几次，

就到了我退休的日子。

再露几次面，

也许就到了我的大限之日。

我阻止不了你的到来，

无论欢迎还是抗拒。

无论你爱我还是恨我，

都改变不了我的归期。

Every year you come without invitation

Whether it's windy or rainy,

Whether I like you or not.

When I was a child,

I looked forward to growing up every day.

Every time you befell,

I was especially delighted.

Nowadays,

You have become a load on my mind,

Reminding me of my old state and powerlessness

Again and again.

Year after year,

You make my black hair grey ,

Wither my face,

Bend my back,

And disturb my mood,

Leaving me no days of peace.

Deliberately I ignore your existence,

For which when I call you to mind,

You’re overdue frequently.

However, you never care.

You will be punctual as usual next time.

A few more times you arrive,

It will be the date of my retirement.

A few more times you show your face,

Maybe it will be the day of my doom .

I can't stop your arrival ,

Whether I greet you or resist you .

Whether you love me or hate me,

You can't change the date of my return.
